This fruity tea brack is perfect accompaniment to a pot of tea on a cold Autumn day.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz – 340gm of Sultanas
  • 1 Mug of Hot Tea
  • 2 tablespoons Mixed Spice
  • 1 Medium Egg
  • 8 oz- 230gm of Self Raising Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon of Sweetner (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak fruit and sweetener in hot tea overnight.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Put the mixture into a 2lb loaf tin and bake for approximately 45 minutes at gas mark 4/180°C/160°C electric fan.
  4. Cool and cut into 16 equal slices.
